Quick Review: Plane Finder 3D for Android

Do you love planes and watch them flying in the sky? Do you trace their path with the white streak they leave behind? If you are so crazy about aircrafts, there is no need to find an ideal location to watch them closely, Plane Finder 3D for Android is here to give you a close and personal look of airplanes.

The new app released by Pinkfroot Limited has lots of potential. It enables you to see flight numbers, flight routes, airline logos and callsigns by panning and zooming in the plane. It showcases live air traffic over detailed terrain in 3D mode. Plane Finder 3D packs exciting real-time data, powerful controls and sharing feature via Twitter. It works with ADS-B, a fast and new technology used by airplanes to transmit data. This technology is not used by all aircrafts so you won’t be able to track aircrafts that aren’t using it.

The app can be used in London, New York, Paris, Amsterdam, Sydney, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Melbourne, Dubai, Hong Kong, Mumbai, Sao Paulo, Barcelona, Taipei, Seoul, Orlando, Dublin, Manchester, Glasgow, Mexico City, Istanbul, Prague, Dallas, Seattle, Toronto, Honolulu, Nice and Warsaw. Plane Finder 3D is based on fantastic idea and has lots of potential, but it needs more development and improvement. Pinkfroot Limited has promised to add more areas and features to it. But if you can’t hold your horses any more, head on to the Android app store and grab it for $2.86.
