Have you been waiting for the Office 365 on iOS? Here’s a good news! Microsoft has released “Office Mobile for Office 365 subscribers” as iPhone only app. If you have had high expectations, you will be disappointed to know that this is not the full-fledged productivity app you want.

 As the name suggests, the app needs Office 365 subscription and lets you create Word, Excel, PowerPoint documents and edit them right from your iPhone. It enables you to add comments in documents and review them. The best feature of Office Mobile for Office 365 subscribers is the ability to edit offline. You can edit your documents even without an internet connection and these changes will be saved when you are connected back to internet. If you want to share the document with your friend or colleague, simply email or save it to SkyDrive or SharePoint. 

These were the only goodies Office Mobile for Office 365 subscribers has to offer. The restrictions are many: it packs very limited editing abilities, needs Office 365 subscription and doesn’t support devices running iOS 6.1 and up.
