Vine is prepping to woo Android users

Android users, are you thinking to get an iPhone just to play with Vine app? Wait! Don’t rush to shell out your hard earned bucks, Twitter’s popular video sharing app is coming to Play Store. For those who are unaware of its magic, Vine was launched in January 2013 and it was restricted to iDevices. The app brings the ability to create and share looping videos in a fun way.

Within just three months of release, Vine tops the U.S App Store charts. The service introduced trending hashtags that help users find content easily. It is categorized under social networking category and it is widely used by popular musicians, brands to promote products, news, job postings etc. The only thing it lacks is a font facing camera. The mobile service was acquired by Twitter last October, it allows unlimited video uploads for free and sharing on Twitter and Facebook. The app also contain violence and adult content so it is advisable that you should not download it if you are under 17 years.

Although there is no confirm date on which it will hit the Play Store but like every techie, I am pretty excited about it. Are you happy with its arrival? What other features are you expecting in Vine for Android? Drop your thoughts in the comments below.
